Big Screen

Finally I got my new work monitor running at home. When the new one came, I could not get it to display more than 1 minute. At first I thought it was the driver on my notebook. I installed a new driver and it gave my notebook a blue screen. Next I thought it was the power cable and I asked my colleague to get me 1. I tried it but it only display for 1 minute. Sigh!

I decided to call HP help desk. They came and replace it with a new unit. Cool eh? It took only 1 day for them to do it.

Now I can watch movie on this screen. Oops, I mean work. I have been having a lot of night tele-conferences and a big screen does help a lot!

My kids just watch Despicable Me on it and they love it to the max!

How To Fold Tissue Carnation

It has been a long time since I made one of these. I learn it when I was in secondary or was it primary. My sister ‘s friend thought me how to make it with tissue. It is really simple and I am sharing it with you.

Materials Required
1 piece of Tissue
1 long straight wire for the stem
A pair of scissors

Cut the tissue into half. I am using a 3 ply tissue. If you are using a 2 ply tissue, divide it into 3 pieces.

Stack it together.

Fold it like a fan. Wire the center to hold it together.

Start peeling the tissue upwards, layer by layer. And you have a beautiful carnation!

I love these flower arrangement designs from EZBloomers.com. The flowers arrangement is so gorgeous. Kudos to whoever that did it. Now they made me want to take up floral arrangement.

I like their plants blooming products too. Tulips are my favorite. Sigh, I cannot bring it here. If tulips are able to gloom here, I would plant it all over my garden.

I believed their floral arrangement value is in every designs I see. I would recommend anyone to get flowers from there. On top of that, you do not need to pay substantial fees for middleman. No service fees and more value. In addition, the arrangement is made to order and you can order whatever design you want. Anyhow I love most of their designs.

Fifth Wheel Insurance

My kids love for me to own a RV. I would love one too to bring them on a vacation. It is definitely a savings on vacation. Now they even have 5th wheel insurance for RV. Fifth wheel insurance is required for RV that has extension. You can check with your insurance agents, if you need more information.

For any unforeseen circumstances, you need towing, it will need a special equipment to tow the RV. Normal insurance policies do not cover that. If you do not have fifth wheel insurance, you should not hit the road with it.

Beware of Paparazzi

Many celebrities are afraid of paparazzi. They are everywhere. Celebrities have no private life because these paparazzi will tail them night and day. I mean where do they get the energy from? Maybe they could have taken some hgh supplements to power up.

There is definitely no freedom for celebrities. The other day I read in an internet article about a Hong Kong celebrity caught walking in his house naked. I mean why the public cares, it is his own home, he can do anything he likes. However the paparazzi didn’t give way but took his naked pictures and published it in the magazine. Looks like this paparazzi is crazy about money and sold their own integrity! It is a sad case.

Space Issue

My house is always running out of space. Storage is a problem because my property is not so big. I wished I have a bigger land that I can ask those steel buildings maker to build a garage for me.

Those who are living in US are so fortunate to get land space for a big playground for their kids, gardening space, garage space and a patio too. Most of my friends who migrated there have those. Maybe I should move out of the island when I retired.

Power Outages

I can feel that the weather here is getting hotter every year. The worst is when the house is heated night time and power went out. That’s when I wished I owned a yamaha generator to at least power up my fan or air condition.

I am glad we don’t have many power outages here. Talking about outages, I was in Genting and the power went out. Fortunately for us, we were in the hotel room. I heard some ladies chattering outside where they cannot get into their room. The door was with electronic locks. It was total darkness and the lift wasn’t working. I wonder what do you do? Thank goodness, the power came back on after 5 minutes.

Someone got a nintendo ds for her birthday. And she is a mom.

Now many mothers are having high tech gadgets to keep themselves educated with technology out there. It is good because you will bridge the gap of your child. At least you know why children are so into some of the games and relate to them.

Now the Nintendo DS comes with 3D screen feature, touch screen, and it has inward or outward facing camera. It comes with Internet features where you can connect for surfing. Cool gadget!

Having fireplace mantels makes the house so warm and gorgeous. If ever I migrate to another country, I probably will pick one with 4 seasons and a house with fireplace.

You can choose from so many styles of fireplace at Mantelsdirect.com. There are different types and colors. You can pick wood, stone, marble or gypsum. I preferred stone material and even with stone, you can select from 8 different colors.

I can just look at those burning logs and sip my hot tea, isn’t that great?

Now you can have chocolate strawberries delivered to your door step. I have wanted to get my US counterpart a gift for helping me with some of my work all the time. She is great and super efficient. She knows what she is doing and takes time to understand the process. She deserved this!

I am one person who can hang around a craft store for a very long time. I love doing crafts. Last trip to US, I did get a lot of cheap crafts back for my children to do.

Now I can do that online too. I love this Beadaholique.com website, it has so many variety of beads stuff and key charm. The hand painted beads are just gorgeous. I am sure I can use them on my handmade bracelets.
