I never regretted getting an it degree. Now you can take the degrees online. The degree is based on competency based approach. You can leverage your own experience or prior learning to complete the degree. Knowledge that you had acquired when you are working in your company.
One benefit to this is you can complete the program faster with less money. With that said, you still need to work hard as assessment will be challenging.
With technologies this day, you can take any it degree online and right at your very own home.

Wow! Now you can do a Masters of Science in Information Security online with Lewis University.
Basically students would have to attend virtual classroom, complete assignments online and communicate with lecturer or classmates via discussion forum. It is just so cool. I never could imagine how advance technology can take us to do a master degree fully online.
What I like about this program is I can communicate with students around the world who are in the same program without travelling to their country. I can build relationship with them and who knows, maybe I can get free stay if ever I visit their country.
This is so tempting for me to think about doing a master degree online. Hey it matches my field too. By the way, financial aid is also available.

I wonder do the schools here in Malaysia still run food fair. I remembered when I was in my secondary school, we ran food sales once a year. We prepare the food and sell to other parents or students. We were raising funds to maintain the school building and to purchase a school bus. There was a bus for sale and our school needs a bus for school excursions.
From the food sales, I learned a lot and it is education by itself. I learn how to run a small business, how to advertise and how to do market survey. I learnt that selling drinks, the famous drink rose syrup with watermelon was the most popular drink. It sold like hot cakes. School food sales can definitely teach the students some business concepts.
