I always wonder if ever I can change my occupation, which other occupation I can do best. I do have a liking in Convention Services/Events Staff Jobs but not sure if I can excel in it.
With these kinds of jobs, I believed I can work for hotels. Isn’t that cool? I will also get to meet lots of different people which I like. I like to learn about people’s culture.
If I ever lose my current job, maybe I can consider this.

I always dream of living in another country, a western one. The culture and life style are so different. Maybe I should look at charlotte jobs to see if I can relocate. That would be great, isn’t it?
If not, the other option would be retiring in another country. Do you think, I would be accepted by then? Of course, the best is still having a job to do in another country. That way, I won’t feel bored.
I would start by looking into Job.com.

When I was young, I love doing any jobs in administration. I like to be able to help people with admin work. Needless to say, as I grow older, I wanted something challenging. So I learn to use the computer to do the admin work. Cool eh?
I took on some administration job at the University to support myself. I had to take care of the computer labs to ensure the students get their time on the computer with the assignments, ensure all printers are working for them and no games allowed in the lab.
It was fun because I got to know many students. I did help some of them with their assignments too. It is definitely a cool job to be in and a good training ground too.

I am wonder how is the employment market out there. I been in my company for more than 10 years and haven’t really survey the jobs market. I did sign up with an online job searching site. I like the site because it has a space for me to update my CV. Besides that when there are jobs matching my CV, it will send the position to me.
I am always hearing fresh grads having difficulty in getting a job. The other side of the story from the employer side is that the fresh grads are choosy or demanding. If ever, you cannot get a job, maybe it is time to upgrade your skills or take a stepping stone job to gain experience.
Time for me to update my CV. *blowing off the digital dust*

My classmate whom I lost contact for a long time is in New York. I finally heard from another friend of mine that she works there. She did a New York job search and found a steady job there.
It is funny that 70% of my schoolmates either work overseas or married overseas. I wonder why? Is life better at the other side?
I know another person who chose to married a western guy and let go her local boyfriend. I believed she really wants to get out of the country. Sigh, poor guy.
For me, I prefer home but that does not stop me from traveling. I love exploring other countries but not live in one. Home is always the best!

My relatives asked me whether are there any good IT jobs. I was dumbfounded. You see IT has a lot of different types like service desk support, network support, marketing, sales, project manager, OS administrator, ERP, programmer…etc. It is very much on what the individual wants to do.
However there are some IT lines where you need a very high skills or expertise in the field. Say for example network support, you need to know about network stuff. For one, I cannot be a service desk support because I do not have very high EQ or patience. I cannot tolerate users who are demanding but don’t know what they want. I cannot tolerate users who think they know IT stuff and tell us what to do. I cannot tolerate users who just want to scold you because they wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
Bottom line is IT folks are very creative if not you will not have Windows on your PCs. IT folks are also good in multitasking, troubleshooting, thinking outside the box and we definitely have a good sense of humor!
