I missed the KL “G Cheong Fun”. The way Penang does they “G Cheong Fun” is so different. It took me a long time to get used to the dark prawn paste with the “G Cheong Fun”. The KL style is very different with fish ball, lady finger, brinjal and fried bean curd. Yummy!!!
I ate that for breakfast almost every week in school. I remember that the store owner always give me extra fish ball. She is a very kind lady. I remembered once I forgot to bring money, she told me to pay her tomorrow. After finishing the “G Cheong Fun”, with the left over sauce, she puts soup on the plate for me. I love sipping the soup. Simply delicious!!!
i dont remember eating any chee cheong fun when i was in Penang. it does not exist to me there! malaccan ones are with the yam cake. =)
i miss tis too… i have not taken tis chee cheong fun for ages n everytime i go back kl i forgot about tis too heheh
