Yes, all those crazy minions are causing troubles. Thanks to McDonald’s! Actually it is those greedy people acquiring all the toy minions so that they can make money. McDonald’s are realizing Happy Meal with free Minion collectables. Those collectables are mainly for children.
However, many greedy people buy lots of Happy Meal to get the toys so that they can sell at a higher price online. Not sure if they ate all the Happy Meals of they throw them away. I just hope no one buy from them.
Pity those children who want minions and could not get any. Parents out there, if you want to get minions, no need to get McDonald’s ones. It is better to get the plushy soft toy where your child can hug it to sleep!
Now I am waiting for McDonald’s to come up with rules so that people will not profit from children toys!

Guess what is inside this box? Finally it arrived. I am so happy! No prize for guessing it right. I got it working within 10 minutes too.
Guess how much this baby cost? Yeap, it is the hard to find Bumblebee Transformer. It costs RM350. Even got scolded for touching it. One of them, when press it speaks. There was one smaller version that bundled with another transformer that cost RM129.
I asked the owner who was an old guy whether he can sell it separately. He was arrogant to tell me that even if he sold separately, it will cost me RM120. He told me Bumblebee is the most expensive transformer around. Someone disputed that in the shop. Hey I can get it for USD9.90 from Hasbro.com which is only RM30.
Wow, if I export a few in, I can profit 300%. Good business eh? By the way, the whole shop was filled with figurines of super heroes like fantastic 4, superman, transformers, iron man, gundam and others. There are really expensive. *roll eyes*
Guess what I am busy with these few days? I got a new toy. Nope it is not the iPhone, in fact I didn’t have time to play with it. My hubby was keying in all his contacts and gets it going.
I got myself a 4x4x4 Rubik’s cube. I was eager to solve it and browsing through the web for solution. If you want to search for the solution, go to YouTube. It has live demo. However I think some of the teachers talk too much.
I managed to solve it within 30 minutes with the first try. Maybe it was beginners luck. Second day, I mixed it up and I started having problems. With the 4x4x4, there are parity issues which 3x3x3 doesn’t. Anyway, formulas must be used for those parity issues. It takes more practice for me to remember those.
In order to solve a 4x4x4, you need to know how to solve a 3x3x3. Now, anyone wants to loan me a 5x5x5?
Tips: Here is a good website for solution http://pjgat09.gotdns.com/old/cube4java.html
Mattel recalling more toys from the market due to lead found in the paint on the toys. It is harmful for children to play with those toys. If you own any of those toys below, contact Mattel for an exchange. Do not let your children continue playing with it as it may do harm than good to them. For non-US resident, you can view the respective service center to request for information to return those toys. I am sure I will be very choosy when it comes to buying toys for my children in the future.
The pictures were downloaded from here.
A friend of mine sent me this email and would like to alert you parents out there. Mattel recalls high lead toys. If you have bought any of those toys, return it and get your money back. Last time, I so wanted to get that Barney phone for my children, fortunately I didn’t.
Three toys affected are Barney Best Manners Phone, Sing ’N Play Alphabook and Giggle Gabbers. The toys were recall because of excessive lead found in the paint of the toys. We really have to be careful when buying toys from China. There is no way for us to tell if something like this happens.
Penang has the largest toy museum in Asia. It has over 100,000 figurines, toys and models of a variety of characters in the toy world. If you step in and admired every single toy, it will take you days. It is located in Tanjung Bungah, very close to the Copthorne Orchid Hotel. Opens from 9am to 9pm daily. Entrance Fees are RM10 per adult and RM6 per child. It is a great place to visit if you are here.
The toys ranges from Star Wars, Lord of the rings, all action figures like Superman, Spideman, Ultraman, Batman, Incredible Hulk, Toys Story, Chicken Little, Barbie, Disney Characters, Harry Potter and some horror characters too.
As usual, Emily and Tim enjoyed the place. One set back about this museum is that it has so many toys, so tempted to take and play with it, but you can only see and not touch. 😥

After having children, I have started collecting McD toys for them. RM5 for the cost of meal and toy. My hubby and I eat the meal and they play with the toy. Someone once told me that McD is not selling fast food but a big chunk of their revenue comes from selling these Made In China Toys. Not sure how true.
Last time, I am sure you remember the craze of those lovely pair of bears where people fight over it. At 7am in the morning, there is a long queue outside of McD to buy those bears. There is one grandfather who queued early in the morning, bought a few cups of ice cream to get those few bears for his grand children. How loving and sweet. I don’t mind a grandpa like that.
Then came Hello Kitty, Pooh Bears, Snoopy, which didn’t sell, as well as those lovely pair of bears. I wonder what next?
