Air Asia Convenience Fee

I am sure for those who book Air Asia flights and pay by credit card, you are charged RM5 per one way ticket per person. Return trip will be RM10. If you have n number of people flying, it will be n*RM10.

Today I booked AA flights and realized they don’t charge if I pay by debit from my CIMB account. It also applies to Maybank, Public Bank, Ambank and Bank Rakyat. Just click Debit on the payment page.

Don’t let them charged you the costly convenience fee unless you don’t know where to use your money. Be Smart!

Kids Wheels Ride

If my kids see these power wheels, they would pester me to let them ride or get one for them. Yes even my little girl. Every time she goes to the mall and see this smaller size vehicle for rent, she will ask me permission to let her ride. Once in a while I will give her and my boy a treat. However, they never get tired of it until I ran out of money.

Maybe if I am out of job, I would invested on these big wheels and rent it out to kids. It is so easy to earn from them. And parents cannot resist the pestering of their child. It will be good business.

I have been learning about how diamonds are graded and how to appreciate its value. I also like looking at diamond to check out if any flaw in them.

If you are looking to buy one, you need to understand its grading system. The characteristics of a diamond are Cut, Carat, Color, Clarity and Certification. The 5Cs. The color ranges from D to Z. D being colorless and Z being yellowish. A D color diamond is more precious.

Carat is the weight of the diamond. The heavier it is the more valuable it will be. Diamonds come in many types of cut from round brilliant diamond to the princess cut. I would prefer round diamonds.

Clarity will indicate whether the diamond has any flaws like blemishes within the stone. It is graded with FL (Flawless), IF (Internally Flawless), VVS1, VVS2 (Very Very Slight Included), VS1, VS2 (Very Slight Included), SI1, SI2, SI3 (Slightly Included), I1, I2 and I3 (Included). Anyone would want a flawless diamond here.

Today, there are many types of certification that are recognized like GIA, AGS, EGL and others. You can resale your diamond if it comes with certification.

iPhone Is Sick

Last few days my iPhone was really sick, not literally. It couldn’t detect any WiFi anywhere. I wasn’t sure what I did. I didn’t install any new apps or change any configuration.

I search the internet for answers or fixes. You know what? I have found so many people having the same problem that their iPhone cannot detect WiFi. However there was no absolute fix, just some trial and error suggestions which many people feedback, it didn’t work for them.

I decided to backup my iPhone and apply the firmware again. It worked for a while and it was back to square 1. I did that for a few times and I also managed to crash iTunes too in the midst of doing that. Everything was not working. Sigh.

I started from ground 0 again. I applied the original firmware so that everything will be wiped out. Secondly, I jailbreak the iPhone with redsn0w. The WiFi was working. I restored my backup. WiFi was working. So far so good. I installed some apps from Cydia. WiFi broke down.

Ahhh…I realized that It was one of the apps from Cydia. Guess which one. It was MxTube version 1.5c. That was preventing my WiFi from working. I removed that, WiFi is back on! Hooray!!

I used to have MxTube on 3.0 firmware but looks like it is not going well with 3.1.3. Believed me, it ran for a whole month without any issues and suddenly it didn’t want to work anymore.
Moral of the story, if your WiFi is not working, it could be some apps you installed. Try removing one by one to see which one is causing the problem.

I have downgrade from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2. Now it is really working fine!!

I remembered when I first knew that I am going to have a baby, I wanted the best for him. It would be the best prenatal vitamins, the best care, the best diapers, the best baby toys and others. However when the second one came along, the best of things are not in my mind. I still gave my deepest love to her and her brother.

Many mothers are very excited when the first one comes. However by the time they get to the 3rd or 4th child, excitement die down. Nevertheless, they know each baby is precious to them. It is definitely a joy to raise up children.

It is good to take pregnancy vitamins when you are having a baby. Although some will say that you get your vitamin from the daily food intake. My gynecologist gave me folic acid on the first trimester, calcium pills at 2-3rd month and vitamin B complex from second trimester onwards.

I was also advised to build up the body system before getting a baby. It helps to create a good environment in your body for the baby to grow.

I upgraded my WP 2.1 to 2.9 months ago. I found that after the upgrade, I get a lot of SPAM comments. Believed me when I was on WP2.1, I hardly get any SPAM because I used my own filtering.

Today I get SPAM every day. I would have thought that the new upgrade would tighten security but it does not. Now I have to scratch my head to think of a good way to fight against SPAM.

I was forced to upgrade because the PHP upgrade will no longer support old version of WP 2.1.

Now WP3.0 is available, should I go for it?

Toilet Bowls

The toilet bowls that my developer has installed when we bought the house is really bad. First I had a couple of flushing issue, pump not working and spare parts hard to find in the market. I felt like reinstalling the bowls. I like the Saniflo toilet design.

It has uses a minimum amount of water and it is good for people who have physical limitation. I like the unique design.

Thyroid Medication

I do have diet pills that really work and I am taking it. However I am not taking it for diet but other medical reason. Normal person cannot take this pill because it will harm them. Actually I am talking about my thyroid medication.

Previously, I was underweight and it was difficult for me to put on. Now as I grow older, putting on is not a problem. I guess I am normal now only without a thyroid gland. That is why I need the thyroid medication.

Still, I need to tell myself to exercise which I often forget or procrastinate. I must make full use of my thread mill again.

Reducing Wrinkles

I am glad I have slightly oily face which prevents getting wrinkles. However I do get pimples but it is not as much as when I was younger. I believed as I aged, I probably may need some wrinkle cream like prevera

The key to reducing wrinkles is to moisturize your face often. Do not over moisturize as it will make your face oily, hence developing pimples.

I have been told to hydrate my face 3-4 times a week with hydrating masks. I love those hydrating mask. It is cool and leaves my face hydrated. If only I do it regularly. Let me know if you have tips on reducing wrinkles.
