Ironing is another challenge to me. Often I cannot get it right and do a good job on it. However I am still discovering new ways of doing so.
Some handy tips on ironing
– Iron in a position where you are comfortable, the ironing board height must be right for your position so that you do not get backache.
– Iron in a cooling room, as the heat from the iron can make you all sweaty and uncomfortable. You can use some soothing music to lighten up the mood.
– Place a aluminum sheet below your iron board cover. It can reflect heat so that it automatically iron both side of your garment.
– You can use quick spray starch to ease your ironing. Just add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to 2 cups of water, stir it and pour it into a sprayer. Spray it on to the garment when ironing.
