When the imagination becomes creation?
Great Talent There!
I was given a mission to set a day to make the kids happy. I had to build a mini fun fare for children. Due to low budget, I had to use recycle materials. I was pretty pleased that I came up with 7 games for the kids to have fun.
I think the kids had fun with these games. If you are organizing an event for children, you can use these ideas too.
Game 1: Throwing Rings on to the nails
Game 2: Tossing Coins on to square boxes
Game 3: Tic Tac Toe (Tossing Ping Pong balls into the plastic cups)
Game 4: Darts
Game 5: Shooting Balls Into Holes
Game 6: Hitting The Cans With Balls
Game 7: Tossing coins into the cup submerge in water.
The other day my friend posted this on my FB. I crack up laughing reading this. Certainly a great way to relief stress. Read it if you are under stress!
HOW DO COURT RECORDERS KEEP STRAIGHT FACES????
These are from a book called Disorder in the American Courts and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and published by court reporters that had the torment of staying calm while the exchanges were taking place.

You made Malaysians proud. For those who don’t know what’s happening, just watch the video. She won the Asian Wave 2012.
Her singing gives me goose bumps too and so much emotion in there. A Malay singing Mandarin song with perfect pronunciation. Really put me to shame.
I watched the video many times and I still like it.
Yes, I am chasing the Rooftop Prince Korean drama and 2 more episodes left. One thing with Korean drama, I have to wait 1 week for 2 episodes. As opposed to TVB Hong Kong drama, it is shown every day except weekends. Note to self, next time I chase any Korean drama, I will make sure the series complete before I start to watch.
Anyway, here is my prediction on what will happen to the ending. I believed the one who died in the pond was Bu Yong. However at the end of Episode 18, Park Ha has save the prince and she was knocked down by the evil Tae Mu. She goes into coma. The prince will go back in time to save Bu Yong from drowning in the pond. Park Ha and the real Tae Yong will wake up from coma, forgetting the past and start a new love. The prince and Bu Yong will also live happily after. Let’s see if my prediction is correct.
By the way, the plot for this drama is good. However a few parts that are unrealistic especially in Episode 18. Why didn’t the prince report Tae Mu/Se Na to the police when they discover the black box? Give him another opportunity to commit crime. Secondly, why did the lawyer have to wait another day for the Will to be final? Just to give Tae Mu another opportunity to get the prince again. Thirdly, the prince sure knows when to disappear from prison and no police go after him when a prisoner has escape. Lastly, Park Ha should have called the prince when she lost her phone to warn him. No, she didn’t and goes right to the spot to be killed. *rolleyes*
Lastly, Yoochun’s expression and acting in this drama is really great!
Finally I got my new work monitor running at home. When the new one came, I could not get it to display more than 1 minute. At first I thought it was the driver on my notebook. I installed a new driver and it gave my notebook a blue screen. Next I thought it was the power cable and I asked my colleague to get me 1. I tried it but it only display for 1 minute. Sigh!
I decided to call HP help desk. They came and replace it with a new unit. Cool eh? It took only 1 day for them to do it.
Now I can watch movie on this screen. Oops, I mean work. I have been having a lot of night tele-conferences and a big screen does help a lot!
My kids just watch Despicable Me on it and they love it to the max!
I accidentally found this Korean Drama online and yesterday I watched it on YouTube. It created rainy weather in me. The story was so touching and made me cry almost on every episode. The story plot is about 2 gals being switched at birth. One landed in a rich family and the other in the poor family. The rich gal had an accident and the parents found out she is not their biological daughter. Later they found that their daughter is living with the poor family.
Sad to say that the rich gal gave up her place and goes to her actual biological mother. She had a very close relationship with her brother. The rich family had to leave for the states and left the rich gal all alone with the poor family. The condition of the poor family was bad. It was just so sad.
Years after, the rich family son came back to look for her sister. The interesting part came when the son’s friend, another rich guy acted by a charming actor named Won Bin came into the picture. He really makes every gals heart melt. The friend also love the girl but the girl love the brother. The brother also love her very much but he had a commitment to her fiancé.
The love from the friend is just unbelievable and his acting was superb. Not to mention he is good looking and charming!
Well, sad to say that the story had a depressed ending. You go find out what it is. It is a great story. You can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_6jbC59hnQ&feature=related
If you want a good cry, this is a good drama to watch.
Hong Kong Disneyland is divided into 4 main sections: Main Street, USA, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.
You can visit the website for the daily schedule of the events, parade and fireworks. It changes from time to time. You can also get a schedule at the ticket counter. When I went there, the parade was at 3:30pm and fireworks were at 7pm. Park hours are from 10am – 7pm.
If you stayed in any of the hotels in Disneyland, you can get 2 days park ticket for the price of 1. You can also purchase Annual park ticket to get about 30% discounts on hotel rates on weekdays.
Last tip, never get those over priced big balloons. Even if you have to get it, purchase it at the end of the day. You do not want to carry it around and you may not take it with you at certain rides. You cannot bring it on any aircraft too unless you deflate it.
Main Street USA
Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad – A train ride that will bring you round Disneyland. You can get an overview of the entire Disneyland. It will make a stop at Fantasyland. I found that the queue in Fantasyland is shorter than the Main Street. You can ride as many times as you like.
Main Street Vehicle – It is a double-decker mini bus where you can cruise up and down Main Street with it.
Shopping area – Most of the souvenirs shops are at the Main Street. You can get glass with a cartoon character and craft your name on it.
Adventure Land
Shows: Festival of the Lion King – You must watch this. It is a superb musical performance of the story of Lion King. Great singing, dancing and filled with action.
Rafts to Tarzan’s Treehouse – You can ride the raft to cross the river to Tarzan Treehouse. There is quite a queue to ride the raft.
Tarzan Treehouse – Climb up on top of the Tarzan Treehouse to get a good view. There are interactive musical instrument that you can experiment with. Of coz you need to ride the raft to get back across.
Jungle River Cruise – Cruise around the river and discovered many surprises. You may get wet or burned in this ride. Watch out for the long queue. There are 2 queues, one in English and one in Cantonese. I found that the English queue was shorter. Must ride.
Tomorrowland
Show: Stitch Encounter – An interactive show with Stitch. We went twice because my gal wanted Stitch to ask her name. Both times she was disappointed. You will be asked to help Stitch to escape. It is very fun. Not much of a queue but it is a great experience.
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters – An arcade type of ride where you are given laser guns to shoot at target points as you ride around. You can even adjust your seating to twirl around. At the end, you can check out your scores. It is a very exciting ride and I almost reach ranking L4. We went a couple of times as there was no queue.
Autopia – Electronic cars ride that you can stir on the track. Even my four year old can drive, how cool is that. Watch out for the queue. We have to wait 20 mins.
Space Mountain – A high speed ride like a roller coaster. Minimum height must be above 102cm. Not for folks with heart conditions.
Orbitron – A flying saucer ride where you can adjust your height as you go in circle.
UFO Zone – Water play to cool off. Good for younger children. Beware of getting wet.
Fantasyland
Show: The Golden Mickeys – The show was alright with cartoon characters dancing.
Show: Mickey’s PhilharMagic – 3D show that you must see. It is a magical journey. Try catching the jewels and food with your hand. Watch out for water spray too and flying Donald!
It’s A Small World – This is my favorite ride and it is new! You can see many culture, costume and colors. It is very well design. Must ride. Beside the beautiful dancing dolls, you can smell the nice fragrant too. The only part I didn’t like was, it is a long walk from the entrance to the ride. There is no short cut, bad design. I think I made 7 to 8 turns.
Dumbo, the flying elephant – Similar to Orbitron where you ride on a flying elephant.
Cinderella Carousel – Merry go round
Fantasyland Train Station – You can hop on to the train to go around Disneyland.
Sleeping Beauty Castle – Here is where you take beautiful shots of the castle and where the firework display is. Try to get a good spot away from the castle for nice shots of the fireworks.
Fantasy Garden – Photo taking with your favorite Disney cartoon. We got hold of Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Winnie The Pooh but missing Donald. Where is Donald?
Mad Hatter Tea Cups – Riding on a cup and going in circles. You can twirl around faster by turning the table. I would suggest that you do not get up and walk immediately. You may fall down after the turning.
The Many adventure of Winnie the Pooh – A journey to help Pooh find honey. Children adore this ride. Remember to smile as you approach the mirror as Winnie will take a picture of you. The picture will be display at the exit where you can order.
Here are some videos on the fantastic time I have in Hong Kong Disneyland. Hope you enjoy it too!
It’s A Small World
Lately I discovered a site where I can watch Chinese Drama Series online. The download is pretty fast and I can fast forward if I want to skip. The best thing is there aren’t any commercials. I just finish a 30 episode drama within a few days. How cool is that. Oh dear, there is so much for me to do yet so little time.
Anyway, it is better than chasing Chinese episode on TV as I always missing the final episode. Not sure whether it is a coincident or what. The final episode has to come on when I am busy on that day. With this I can watch anytime when I am free.
