I just received four birth announcements this month. Oh dear! I haven’t prepared the baby gifts for them. How I wished I can just a gift card for the parents to get whatever the baby need.

Next best thing I would usually gift is cloth diapers in cute patterns. I really love them and it is good for the environment compare to disposable.

I have a couple of friends getting married and they have all summoned me. I am not sure whether this is a wedding year or what? It seems that many are tying the knot this year. I already have 6 wedding invitations this year. Oh well, when economy crisis happens, work will be less and good time to produce babies I guess.

I always run out of ideas of what to give as wedding gifts. When I ask them what they want, they always decline to give me hints. Once I got my close friend a wedding lingerie and she like it very much. I wonder did she wear it on the wedding night.

I wanted to get a gift for myself after hearing some not so good news. All I can say is that I just got a big pinch. Sigh. Economy situation with many MNC is not very bright and companies are cutting here and there.

Aside with the bad news, I wanted to get a nice pendant. I saw this being advertise and I love it at first site. Don’t you think it is cute?

I went to Diamond and Platinum shop to take a look. The actual pendant is real small and the heart is not crafted very neatly. I was a little disappointed. However I saw a pearl pendant that was on promotion and I love it. It is much bigger, more value and cheaper. I will wear this for the Christmas dinner. That’s what in the mystery box. We ladies have to pamper ourselves once in a while.

Remember Vien and I asked you to guess what I brought for Vien’s baby? I got Vien a baby hammock, we called it “u u” or sarong. I hope Vien’s baby like it.

The person who was the first to get it correct was Angeleyes. Coincidently she ping/IM me in the morning that she wanted something in US. At that time, she didn’t know she was the one who got it correct. I happened to find it in Walmart. Here is what I got for her, cupcakes stand.

Today she came to my house to collect it. She surprised me with some of her lovely homemade cupcakes. It was really cute and delicious too. Emily loves it very much. Tim, papa and I haven’t tried it yet. It looks too adorable for me to even eat it. Thanks Angeleyes!

A few months back, I was surfing the online florist for a special gift or a gift idea. However I pretty much had some lousy experience with online florist who did not delivered what was posted on their website. Besides that, it is pretty costly or should I say overpriced for the items sold.

I wanted to give something to a special friend on her birthday and I saw a bouquet of bears, not flowers. Something that is pretty unique. As I was shopping, I saw this shop having bears for sale. I grabbed some and created this bouquet as in the picture. The cost of material is not very expensive. It is 20% of what the online florist would sell. Hey do you think I can make money selling this in Ebay? How much should I sell it for? I want to rent some Ebay space to test the market.

By the way, it took me only 20 minutes to do a bouquet like that.
