However I am not sure whether it is new or what, the service sucks big time. It is slow and takes forever for the food to come. My hubby’s order never arrived. We follow up with the waitress 4 times. At last one waitress came, after 30 minutes, told us that the beef ran out and asked us to change to chicken. We asked them, how long would that take. She said another 30 minutes. My hubby decided to cancel it. She could have told us early that they were short of beef.
The food, it was ok, nothing special. I must say they have quite a lot of variety on their menu. They served children’s menu in special tray, like aeroplane, bus or train. However the children menu is not suited to children’s taste.
Price, as pricey as all the Japanese restaurant here.
Eating The Japanese Way
I love japanese food…..yum yum….sakae sushi in singapore is ok leh!
Hi there. Think u know by now that Sakae Sushi’s Singaporean, but the Jap food it serves is in no way authentic. It actually one of the worst IMO – which counts quite a bit since I’m a Jap food enthusiast and have tasted Jap cuisine in several price ranges in a few countries.
it’s bad. 🙂
Maybe the order wasnt wired to the kitchen… hahahaha computer glitches!
wah Emily can eat with chopsticks..cool..there’s also a sakae sushi at the curve, but it’s forever so crowded..sien
Jan: Singapore have lots of variety of Jap places, I tried a few and I liked it.
sushilover: Maybe you can share with us, which are the good places we can go.
Julian: I think the staff is short handed.
Jazz: I only allowed her to use chopstick when we are eating out. You get the picture. :giggles: We went early, after we left, there were a long long Q outside.
why is the kid’s menu not suitable to children’s taste?
