After reading “‘Laki’ Cleansing” from Loctor Mayat’s blog, I decided to clean my keyboard too. I am using an Apple brand keyboard too. Somehow I think that the design is not very practical because it has a plastic cover at the bottom of the keyboard. Dirt seems to accumulate at the bottom and it is difficult for me to get it out. Worst is little ants like to carry food stuff into by keyboard even after my son drew the no ant-ry sign.

Now that I know I can pop those keys out using a plastic ruler, I can clean the dirt out with a small paint brush. It is all clean now and the keyboard still works, thanks to Loctor Mayat.

One thing I like about SIA is that whenever I fly to US, I can loot 32kg x 2 stuff back. Recently I received a memo from them, for US trip the weight allowance has reduced from 32kg (70lbs) to 23kg (50lbs). Any excess baggage will be charged.

I guess the recent change is due to oil price hike. I heard that it takes more fuel to carry more heavy baggage. AirAsia took the excuse of saving the environment and encourage passenger to travel light. AirAsia is also charging extra for baggage. However how can I resist the temptation of buying stuff from US? Oh well, spend less and save more for me.

I read in order to use MMS feature, you have to install swirlyspace. I haven’t tried it yet but details are at this site: http://www.swirlyspace.com. Just add http://swirlyspace.com/SwirlySpace.xml to your source installer.

Do you know you can set iPhone Edge to connect to your local Malaysia telco APN? With this feature, you can surf using your telco line. Beware of the cost associated with it. All you have to do is:

Go to Setting -> General -> Network -> Edge

For Digi, APN: diginet . Username and password is blank.
For Maxis, APN: net Username: maxis Passoword: wap
No sure about Celcom.

If you have your email setup, your iPhone will use Edge to check incoming email if no WiFi available, every 15 minutes I think. If you do not want that, remember to turn Edge off. You will be charge every time you use Edge. I probably will use it on an urgent need basis.

By the way, you can set iPhone to read Gmail or any other mail system with SMTP services. You need to setup the Mail setting on your iPhone.

I cannot wait for my 16G iPhone to arrive, end of the month. It will come earlier as intended. By the way, I must give it to Apple. I made an order which was supposed to ship out this week, which they did. Apple upgraded my shipment to Fedex Express without any additional charge. Usually a Fedex express will cost US10. How cool is tat?

Tbowl has an extraordinary interior deco for its restaurant. Most people will not use a toilet bowl concept to decorate an eating place. But not for Tbowl. They have successfully attracted customers with toilet bowl. No joke.

Yeap, the seats are all toilet bowls and even the food is served in toilet bowls. The tables are sinks which is covered with a piece of glass. You can see walls with shower outlet. My little gal wanted to shower there too if the shower works.

As for food, there is not much specialties. I was quite disappointed with it, as many food choices that were in the menu are not available. It was very pricey too from RM10-RM15. If you have not eaten out from a toilet bowl before, you should try. Believe me, there isn’t a tint of toilet smell at all. It is in Penang Queensbay mall, next to Golden Screen Cinema.

Most of us are using Google Reader or any other feed software to read blogs. I must say it is a useful tool to skip certain posts, if you get what I mean. However, it is also bad because traffic goes to Google Reader. We do not want that right. We still want visitors to come to our blog when they read.

Actually it is the flaws that most traffic stats that they didn’t measure the amount of visitors who used feeder to read your blog. I guess they should do that.

I am addicted to iZoo, a game that is similar to Bejeweled. Bejeweled was one of my favorite games to past time. I was looking for Bejeweled to install on the iPhone and I found iZoo. You can play iZoo without having any internet connection.

Here is what you do to install it:

1. Go to the Sources icon and select it.
2. Go to Edit -> Add
3. Key in this URL http://www.touchrepo.com/repo.xml
4. Go to install and look for iZoo under Games category.
5. Select iZoo and install.

I was able to reach level 10, too bad it didn’t allow me to save my level. If you know any cool installers, please comment.

Guess what I am busy with these few days? I got a new toy. Nope it is not the iPhone, in fact I didn’t have time to play with it. My hubby was keying in all his contacts and gets it going.

I got myself a 4x4x4 Rubik’s cube. I was eager to solve it and browsing through the web for solution. If you want to search for the solution, go to YouTube. It has live demo. However I think some of the teachers talk too much.

I managed to solve it within 30 minutes with the first try. Maybe it was beginners luck. Second day, I mixed it up and I started having problems. With the 4x4x4, there are parity issues which 3x3x3 doesn’t. Anyway, formulas must be used for those parity issues. It takes more practice for me to remember those.

In order to solve a 4x4x4, you need to know how to solve a 3x3x3. Now, anyone wants to loan me a 5x5x5?
