Before married, all angpows go into my pockets. 
After married, I am counting my children’s angpow. See and cannot spend. 
They received a lot of angpows from family, relatives and friends. Even unmarried people also give my children angpows.
I was counting all the cash they got. At the end of CNY, I will bank it into their account. I told my children, they can have RM10 to get a toy. Tim wanted a pair of glasses and Emily hasn’t decided yet.
My children receive many different and interesting angpow packets. These days, the advertising company or bank is very creative. I used to collect different design of angpows but no space to keep it, so I have to throw it all away.

My wife, my cousin’s wife, my sister in law all kept ang pow packets in different designs and so on. My cousin’s wife even arranged them based on year and kept them in the album. Its really nice to see them and all the different designs each year.
My brother would go to China and buy nicely designed ang pow packets since the wife and my wife likes to keep them.

I still remember when sis brought the ang pau packets back from HKG for me 3 years ago where there were not many ‘fli fla’ (cartoon) designs in the M’sian market and I was so proud to show them off when I handed the ang paus to my frens’ kids but now …. haiyo …. can easily get any where.
I still keep the very pretty ones.
Hey, you can keep all your nice angpows in an album. I used to buy and keep nice bookmarks when I was a teenager in a photo album. Now, I can’t even find the album….haiya.

Wah, what a great hobby. Hehe…their design are cool eh. I see some ppl even go all out to pay for interesting ang pao designs. I won’t la, I just get whatever I can get hold of it but guess what, I have too many and really hv no idea how to get rid of them.
