I just got to know about Black Friday, the Friday after Thanksgiving. It will kick start the Christmas shopping. It is the busiest shopping day because you get lots of great Black Friday deals.
I wished I am in US on that day so I can get good stuff back. I am eyeing on a Lumix camera. How come things are cheaper in the US? I always wonder about this question. I am definitely looking out for sale now.

I have been learning about how diamonds are graded and how to appreciate its value. I also like looking at diamond to check out if any flaw in them.
If you are looking to buy one, you need to understand its grading system. The characteristics of a diamond are Cut, Carat, Color, Clarity and Certification. The 5Cs. The color ranges from D to Z. D being colorless and Z being yellowish. A D color diamond is more precious.
Carat is the weight of the diamond. The heavier it is the more valuable it will be. Diamonds come in many types of cut from round brilliant diamond to the princess cut. I would prefer round diamonds.
Clarity will indicate whether the diamond has any flaws like blemishes within the stone. It is graded with FL (Flawless), IF (Internally Flawless), VVS1, VVS2 (Very Very Slight Included), VS1, VS2 (Very Slight Included), SI1, SI2, SI3 (Slightly Included), I1, I2 and I3 (Included). Anyone would want a flawless diamond here.
Today, there are many types of certification that are recognized like GIA, AGS, EGL and others. You can resale your diamond if it comes with certification.

I get some kind of thrill when I am shopping stuff online. I feel better if I get great deal. The other day I was just got something that was 30% off from the retail price.
Here is a tip, in order to get great deals you must find online coupons. Online coupons help me to save and I use it all the time. With the extra, you can buy lots more. Doesn’t this make you happy?
On top of that, you get free shipping from some of the online stores. If only I am staying in US.

I have no experience in choosing mens ties because my partner does not wear them. Therefore I do not buy any. However I did browse through a online site called www.ties-necktie.com. Wow I like the neck ties there.
I am tempted to get some as a gift. They have simple yet elegant design which I like. It stands out with a pastel color shirt. Very chic!

It is a trend now for people to shop online. It is very convenient for everyone. I really hope that Malaysia will advance in this area. I heard some local sites are getting very popular but the technology of a one click purchase is not there. Meaning, the end to end transaction is all done online without any manual process.
Hey now you can almost get anything online. You can even buy diet pills online or contact lenses.
If the online shopping is popular here, that will surely put a hole in my pocket.

I was an impulse buyer when I was a lot younger. Maybe I am attracted by the point of purchase displays. Most of the time, people will select the product with the best and attractive packaging. Don’t you think so?

If you want to sell a product, besides meeting the quality, the outlook is very important. It will certainly attract impulse buyers. There are a lot of impulse buyers out there. For more great designs, you can browse through CreativeDisplaysNow.com for great ideas. I like their designs.

Christmas will be here in 3 weeks time. Everyone is shopping for Christmas. My children sent me their wish list 6 months ago and I have already gotten their gift. They are pretty cool because they know I have the gift but they didn’t pester me to let them play with it.
I am so fortunate because they didn’t asked for Nintendo WII, else I will be spending a lot on wii accessories.
Have you done your Christmas shopping? I bet there are a lot of great deals. What do I want for Christmas? I am still unsure yet.

I was in Singapore and there were many sales especially in jewelry store. I was looking for a cross pendant for my mom and I saw this beautiful certified diamonds cross. It was a good deal after the given discount. I looked into the magnifying tool and the cut were excellent. It was D to E color. It was something I love to have.
I also saw an attractive diamond pendant cross with ruby and red sapphire. I didn’t know that sapphire comes in red. The design was superb because it brought out the shine of the diamond.
It was a great trip to see so many good designs out there.

I never knew who Michael Kors was until I watched Project Runway. Well he is one of the famous designers out there. He has his own line of handbags, shoes, watches and clothing.
Well if you are a fan of his, you can get his products from the internet. I only like the way he provide feedbacks on the Project Runway show. If you are into fashion, you can learn something from him.
Here is one charming leather zip gloves from him:

I do not know much about Cigars. The other day when I was shopping , I saw flavored cigars. Yeap there are orange flavored, coffee flavored, strawberry flavored and others, just like ice-cream. Of cos, ice-cream tasted better. There are also Black and Mild cigars. I really wondered if the cigars smoker will taste any of those flavors as they smoke.
Anyway, I would not want to try as I am not a smoker and I don’t encourage anyone to smoke either. Now the cigar industry is going all the way out to attract smoker to tryout these flavored cigars.

Last time when I was at Victoria Secrets, I walked in and walked out empty handed. I am not a lingerie person. There wasn’t anything for me. This time around, I walked in and I got these goodies.

I am not sure whether it is cheap or not but I know that we cannot get any here. It was 5 bottles for US$25 or 7 bottles for US$30. I also got lots of sweet smelling sanitizers from there. Maybe they should open a chain of Victoria Secrets in Malaysia. I am sure lots of ladies, even men would be interested.
One guy who took a hanger of lingerie and asked the sales lady loudly, ”Is this set complete?” “Do I need to get anything extra?” That was funny. The sales lady got shock for a while and later helps him. I used to subscribe to VS catalog and I like most of the blouses there. However the shipping is costly. Lets hope it will come here soon!

TheEquestrianCorner.com is giving 70% off on selected horse riding apparel. Apparels such as breeches, saddles, boots, helmet and others. Go and have a look.
It is so elegant to wear the entire set of horse riding apparel. I wonder how I would look like?

First, let me go learn how to ride a horse. I did ride once before, I was kind of afraid. Mainly because I am so high up and I have height phobia. The horse moved very slowly but after a while it stopped and decided to eat some grass. It must be a lazy horse. I will definitely tried again.

ReidSupply.com is a place where you can find any industrial supplies. It has a free CAD Library that allowed you to get the image of the components. You can download it from that site. It will save you a lot of effort drawing it on your own.
Besides that you can order any industrial components online. It has a very powerful search engine that allows you to key the exact measurement. It makes life easier. Imagine if you had to go to a store to look for a screw of certain measurement. It will probably take you some time search.
With ReidSupply.com, you can get it online and it ship right to your door step. I am fascinated by the CAD drawing.

One Saturday morning, I woke up and switched on the TV. I was sucked in by the Infomercial, you know where they sell things on TV. This was in US. I tell you I cannot live there else I go bankrupt easily.
I saw a vacuum broom and it is so need. The minute I saw it, I wanted it. The TV deal was 2 for US29.90. Great deal right? Nope I didn’t get it on TV, I am not that crazy.
However I was hunting for it in the local store when I was in the Bay Area. I was in the dilemma to get it or not. Finally, Vien took me to Macy at Stanford Mall and found one there. I like the packing, it is small and I can definitely stuff into my baggage.
The electric vacuum sweeper is very flexible, you can maneuver it through every corner. It sucks up all my fallen hair that my broom cannot sweep. It does not need a vacuum bag. It is wireless which means you don’t have wire dangling everywhere when you use it or trip over it. It has a charger for you to charge it up. The suction is pretty strong. Since it is a US unit, I need a step down transformer to charge the battery. With the help of my hubby, I managed to get one which is small to convert 110V to 240V. Pretty need. Don’t you want to get one too? I bet if I imported a whole bunch it, it will sell like hot cakes here.

I love doing online shopping and I usually buy from ebay and Amazon.com. Weeks before I went to US, I did most of my shopping in Amazon.com. In Amazon.com, I get free shipping and no tax if I ship to Bay Area in US. It is better than physically shopping in Bay Area. Imagine 9.25% of tax added to your buying cost. Not fun!
I managed to get most of my son’s transformer toys there and it was on special too. I couldn’t find the latest Fallen in the local stores. I am glad I made the decision to get it online. My boy and nephew are grinning from ear to ear to see what I got for them.

I was also hoping to get a Spongebob Lego for my gal. I saw a couple of sellers in ebay having that product. However I didn’t win any of the bids. The price of the Lego was ok but the shipping cost was ridiculous. I managed to get it from Amazon.com at $37.90 without tax and shipping charges. The local store was selling from $39.90 + 9.25% tax.
If you are in the US, do pay attention to Amazon.com. I wished they have free shipping in Malaysia. That will be so cool!

US is a great place to get anything that you want. My friend’s dog had a facture knee and couldn’t walk. He was in deep pain. The vet told my friend to give him Glucosamine. After taking a few course, he was able to walk. Imagine dogs taking supplements. She asked me to get Glucosamine for her pet dog. It is cheap there.
They have all kinds of supplements for pets. I am sure they have horse supplements too. You know where a good place to get horse supplements, it is at JeffersEquine.com. Great deals there too. If only I owned a horse.

I drove 35 miles to Castle Rock Factory Outlet on the day after I land. Fun starts before a busy week of work. They have summer sales there. You cannot imagine how cheap and how much I bought. There are many outlets there like Coach, Levi, Guess, Gap, Corelle and many more.

Driving up there wasn’t too difficult because it is a straight road, just like Gilroy. However with Castle Rock, the shops are all in one place. I don’t have to drive from one zone to the other. If you are tired walking, there is a little nice food court for you to eat and relax. It has wifi too.

Ok, here is the interesting part…..COACH IS ON SALE!!!!! It is not just sale but SUPER SALE. Yes, crazy price too. Most bags were like 50% discount and there are so many choices there. By the way, there is no queue whatsoever and not very pack with people too. Some bags were USD$99. See for yourself. You cannot believe how many I bought back. Now I am broke!

Look at my Oshkosh receipt, clothes below USD$5. Back home, it is selling above RM40. Now you know why I have a problem packing. Not forgetting all the preordered toys that my children listed for me.

I am frustrated at some Ebay sellers. They think we are fools. They tried to abuse the system and we buyers have to be alert.
A week ago, I had a bad experience. I was looking for a Lego Spongebob set in ebay for my gal. I bid and won at a very reasonable price. Guess what the seller did? First she quickly changed the invoice to include shipping to Malaysia. She was fast, she did it a few hours after I won the bid. By the way, she charged me US$42 and the box of Lego was US$26.

I wrote to her to ask her to ship to a US address since I will be going there for business trip. She re-adjusted the invoice. I paid it after she did that. Later she refunded my money and gave a lame excuse that her bf accidently step on the Lego box, therefore spoiled it. You see Lego are made to be tough. Anyway, I asked her to take a picture for me, if it is not badly damages, I will take it at a discounted price. She didn’t take any pictures but offer to find another set for me. Until now, I didn’t hear from her. I sensed that she wanted to profit from the shipping cost.
There were a lot of things in Ebay that is overpriced. I bought a Transformer The Fallen from Amazon.com for US$22.99 with no shipping cost. Ebay sellers are selling for US$30-$60. Are they crazy? Amazon.com is selling the Lego Spongebob for US$39 inclusive of shipping. Ebay sellers are putting at US$25-$40 but with a high shipping cost like US$14.70.

There are some fake bidders that jack up the price of the goods. Bottom line, beware of these cheaters! I am better off buying stuff in Amazon.com. I hope Amazon.com accept non-US paypal in the future.
