We went on train ride, truck ride, merry go round and playground. There were other ship ride, bumper bee, bumper car and bus ride that go up high. For the ship rides, only children allowed, no adult. It was fun for the children. We couldn’t stay long as Emily wasn’t feeling well. 🙁

Pan Mee
I love a pan mee stall in KL. It is in Chow Kit Lorong Haji Taib 4 Road. That is where I grew up. The flat that I used to stay, now become a Tiong Nam Union (aka Persatuan Penjaja Tiong Nam). It has a lot of “lieu” as in mushroom strips, minced pork and vege. Pan Mee is a self-made flour noodle. It taste better when you add chilli and lime in it. Simply delicious!!!
I got some tickets to watch Disney On Ice over the weekends. Thanks to my friend who could get me 25% discount for the tickets. Tim was very eager to watch the show. He kept saying, he want to see Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear and Incredibles which will be appearing. Every time, we pass by the poster, he will tell mummy he want to go watch.
The day came, we watched the 1 pm show, first show in Penang. Fortunately we went to see the first show, because later show have to wait outside the door for the previous show people to clear before they can entered. Imagine the hot sun.
The show was great, I enjoyed every bit of it. Emily didn’t. She slept through Act 1 and cried during Act 2. Probably she was too sleepy or hungry. She didn’t eat much at lunch time and mummy didn’t bring enough food to keep her happy. 😡
Anyway, it was not a big crowd. I would say 50% of the stadium was filled. My hubby took 200 shots, and here are a few for you to enjoy. I will certainly bring them to watch it again. By the way, I spend quite a bit to get those overprices souvenirs for Tim & Emily. The program book already cost RM30.
It was a great performance with a variety of fairy tales. I felt like I was in fairy tale land or in Disneyland. The stunts were ok, a few flips and twist. Music and dialogues were recorded. The program:
Act One
Overture
Goofy and the Zamboni
Aladdin
Finding Nemo
Beauty & the Beast
Classic Princesses
Toy Story
It’s a Small World
Act Two
Mickey Leads the Band
Pinocchio
Mulan
The Incredibles
The Lion King
Finale
Someone send me this, today. For those children out there who loves the purple dino, pamper your parents to take you.

Congratulations Daniel!! Somehow I had that instinct that he will win. I think he was at the top from day 1. You just make 8TV or TV3 richer, 1.2 million (& 6 million in total with the rest) votes for finale!! I think he has a bright future. Look at Leon Lai, Andy Lau and Aaron Kwok. Don’t underestimate the young generation fans. Die hard fans. I just don’t believe what I read in those MI forums. They are all out for the one they like, even if no pocket money for the rest of the month or year.
Now I know being a parent is not easy, if you know what I mean. One day, if my gal or boy came up to me and said “Ma, I need RM100 to vote for their favourite idol?” Give or not to give? I hope I don’t face with that question in the future.
In my humble opinion after watching the Finale, I think NITA ROCKS!!! Her stage performance was excellent, her power and spirit was superb. I just hope she is the next Malaysian Idol.
Anyone who is a fan of Malaysian Idol? Tonight Finals In Genting, live at 8:30pm, showing in both 8TV and TV3. Daniel & Nita will be performing. The idols will sing 3 songs each, one judges’ choice, one personal choice and one theme song. The theme song is titled ‘Mimpi’ and it was written by Pot Amir of Innuendo.
I like to watch MI from Auditions to Workshops to Spectaculars to Finals. I also vote for Nita. I think she has talent and her stage performance is excellent. Tonight I will judge by the performance, whoever does the best performance will get my votes. I have so much balance in my handphone. I am not a phone person that is why I have so much balance in there.

Who are you voting for?
Today I brought the kids to the Bon Odori festival in Esplanade in Penang. The place was filled, few hundreds people were there. Parking was nearly impossible. God provided us one, although it was a distance walk from Esplanade but it is sure better than none. We reached there about 8pm.
Lots of food stalls around and hungry people too. There was a popular stall selling mega huge balloon and water balloon that they played like a yoyo. I got my son a big balloon. My son played for a while and passed it back to me. I can see $$ flying away, anyway, it was for charity.
The place was dark, not enough lighting. Fortunately, they placed lots of tables and chairs.
There were dances & performance. Many people joined in to dance. Lots of Japanese people around. Mostly there were in Kimono. Too bad, no kimono for sale else would have gotten one for my gal. I saw so many Japanese children in Kimono, they were very adorable.
Fireworks were started sharp at 9pm. It was beautiful and real loud. My children enjoyed it. People started leaving once the fireworks was over, so did we.
