It is so sad to see so many con artists on the Net especially those Nigerian’s email. The other day I posted some stuff I want sell on mudah.my. After posting it, I received many emails saying they are from UK/London or abroad wanted to buy my stuff. But they want me to ship to Nigeria or South Africa. Yeah right!
Anyway, I told them straight that I do not do any shipping outside my country. Yet, they still email me back. Can’t they take hint that I know they are cons.
I am glad I read one article here:http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/3887493.stm, someone actually able to con them back. As a Chinese saying goes “If you don’t taste chili, you don’t know that it is hot”
So beware of this scammers out there especially if you are selling stuff on the Net!
I love to cook and thanks to my school, that’s where I learn how to cook. Too bad, now they do not have home science subject in school. I did enjoyed cooking in school. I baked, I fried, I steam and I make delicious food. Of course I did learn some recipe by observing my mom cooked.
In order to make delicious food, you must have good cookware. I heard the all clad copper core cookware are able to distribute the heat evenly for cooking. It also has a lifetime warranty. Some cookware does bring out the good taste in your cooking.
I never wanted to try this because I am a very ticklish person. However my gal wanted it, so we went as a family. We went to the one in Queensbay mall where children dip for free. Adult is RM28 per 30 min.
It was very ticklish at first especially when the fish bit the palm of the feet. I kept both the palm together to avoid being bitten. Later, it wasn’t ticklish anymore. It is fun. Funny, only a few fish swam to my gal. Maybe she had one round in KL last week. No more dead skin to feed the fish.
I felt my feet a lot smoother. It is good for dry skin. I will certainly go back again.
I read in the newspaper that government is introducing RM50 service tax yearly per credit card, starting Jan 1. They cannot make up their minds, they stopped, they introduced, they stopped and introduce again. It is a never ending story. Make us do work only. I really hope they pull back this decision.
Poor me, I have to start cancelling all my credit cards again. It was not my fault to have so many, the credit card company just give me free of charge with no fees. I applied 1, they give me 2 both Masters and Visa. Some of them are just discount cards like the Ikea credit card I just applied.
Poor Credit Card’s sales staff, they will not get many people applying for credit cards next year. Everyone will want to save RM50. It will reduce credit cards sales job and it is not good for the country.
Poor people who had installments tie to their credit cards, they cannot do anything but to pay RM50 for nothing.
As for me, I have to start canceling my credit cards now….2 more months to go. Now which one should I keep? That’s the hard part.
A few months back, I was scouting for nice curtains for my apartment. Well, tailored made curtains are very expensive. If I had the time, I could sew it myself but I just didn’t have spare time.
I know Kamdar, the local fabric store offered curtain making. The labor is pretty cheap about RM7 per piece. For standard size curtains, it is very much worth it. The tip is to purchase a wide enough cloth to minimize joining pieces together. The less join, the cheaper the curtain is. There are fabrics with wider with like 60cm, 90cm or 120cm.
Anyway, I saw a design that I like but it was a two piece curtain sewn together. To add to it, the windows in my apartment are not standard. All of it needs to be of the size of sliding door curtains tall and the width is also non standard too. Therefore, I need to tailor make all the curtains.
I am pretty pleased with the finished product with the price I am paying. It is really beautiful.
One Saturday morning, I woke up and switched on the TV. I was sucked in by the Infomercial, you know where they sell things on TV. This was in US. I tell you I cannot live there else I go bankrupt easily.
I saw a vacuum broom and it is so need. The minute I saw it, I wanted it. The TV deal was 2 for US29.90. Great deal right? Nope I didn’t get it on TV, I am not that crazy.
However I was hunting for it in the local store when I was in the Bay Area. I was in the dilemma to get it or not. Finally, Vien took me to Macy at Stanford Mall and found one there. I like the packing, it is small and I can definitely stuff into my baggage.
The electric vacuum sweeper is very flexible, you can maneuver it through every corner. It sucks up all my fallen hair that my broom cannot sweep. It does not need a vacuum bag. It is wireless which means you don’t have wire dangling everywhere when you use it or trip over it. It has a charger for you to charge it up. The suction is pretty strong. Since it is a US unit, I need a step down transformer to charge the battery. With the help of my hubby, I managed to get one which is small to convert 110V to 240V. Pretty need. Don’t you want to get one too? I bet if I imported a whole bunch it, it will sell like hot cakes here.

I have problematic skin but it has improved a lot after I have children. I used to get Dermalogica but the price had shop up sky high. I changed to Cellnique Seaweed cleaner and it is really good. However it is difficult to get the product. There is one beauty salon who sells this product. I depended on their supply for a while.
However lately, the shop was closed. I was very curious so I called the mobile number and the one who picked up the phone told me the owner sold the mobile number to her. I wonder who would want to buy a handphone number. The number has nothing special and hard to remember too. I believed she may have lied for obvious reasons.
Anyway, I was really disappointed and my last drop of cleanser is gone. So I tried to search on ebay. To my surprise there was a reseller and she sells in big size bottle and a very good price too with no shipping charges. I grabbed one big bottle. What do I do without ebay!
I am not a shoe person so I do not have many shoes. I have one pair for work, one pair for casual wear, one pair for evening function and one pair for sports. Now I am eyeing on a pair of CROCS but they are overpriced. I probably will wait for the sale.
Here are my working shoes made of leather. One is Bonia brand and the other is Alain Delon but guess which one lasts longer. Both are about the same price too. Apparently the Bonia last much longer. I wore my Bonia for 2 years before I bought the Alain Delon shoes. However Alain Delon only lasts for 2 years. Now I am back to my Bonia shoe again. The Bonia leather is still smooth and nice. No signs of any wear and tear.

Alain Delon:
Time to shop for another pair and I will probably go back to Bonia brand.
The other day one of my colleagues brought this to the office. It is a Tupperware container. Not just any container but one that you can compress. It is very innovative. When you want to use it, you expand it. After using, you can just compress. It definitely saves some storage space. It was selling at a promotion, 2 for RM14. I didn’t get any because I have a cabinet full of Tupperware or any ware.

Another thing, I love browsing at the Tupperware catalog or just any catalog. Woman…hehehe.
I will be refurbishing my house and repainting some areas of faded paint. I will need all the power tools like air tools, driller, cutting tools, finishing tools and others. It will be hard work for me. First of all, I will need to learn how to use those tools. Oh well, maybe I do the painting and leave the drilling to the man.
Anyway I will be browsing eToolsNow.com to see what promotion items I can get to fix the house. I am sure I can find good deals there.
