I have a friend who is a pet lover. She got a dog, a parrot, an aquarium of fish and a gecko. She told me that she knows a place where she can get good deals on pet supplies. I am amazed at what you can find in a pet supply shop.
There are lots of toys for pet, yeap you heard me right. Not only that, the pet supplier store has jerseys for dogs, comfortable pillow for dogs, dog brush and other amazing stuff. If you don’t know what I am talking about, go browse Jeeferspet.com for the latest stuff for your pet. I am sure you will find something your pet likes.

I have a hard time getting nice shoes for myself. Most of the shoes in the market are good to look at and not really comfortable. I dislikes those really high heels ones because it will numb my feet if I walk too long with it.
Anyway, I like the kind of shoes from Beautifeel shoes. It is beautiful, elegant and yet comfortable. I can find my working shoes, my daily wear shoes and evening wear shoes for event or function. Not that I need so many pairs.
I can surf and browse the latest release of Beautifeel Shoes in BeautifeelShoesUSA.com without physically walking from shop to shop. It saves me a lot of time and energy. Hey I found a good pair there that I want to get.

When I was young, I love to look for “Made In” label. At that time, I can find things made everywhere. Now most things are made locally or Made in China. China produces a lot of stuff and shipped worldwide. You can find “Made in China” things almost in every country.
Last time, I had a friend who went to Hong Kong to get some electronic gadgets. He bought a Sony brand. The price was alright. Later he discovered that it is made in Malaysia. We called that “the return home” gadget.
The other day, I was surprised when I saw this:

Guess what is made in Ireland that I own and used every day? I am sure you have one too. It is the last place I would thought that this was made in Ireland. Reason is the cost of producing it will be high. Now that I know it is from there, I have the quality assurance.

The other day I was in Singapore Changi Airport getting some toys for my children. I picked up a couple of toys and paid at the counter. At the counter, the sales person was scanning the barcode and discovered there was a price difference. She told me that the price of the toy is wrongly tag. It should be a dollar more. I had to pay the extra dollar else no sale.
I encountered a similar situation in US. I was in the Corelle Store and got a dinning set. The tag was wrongly priced. The sales person apologized and gave me the price that was tagged. It is so nice of them.
You can see both have very different way of providing customer service. One is being too profit oriented and the other, customer centric. If the store makes a mistake, they should bear the cost and not frustrate the customers.
The truth I love shopping in US because they are so focus on customers and yet makes a profit. Do you know that there was once, my meal came late and the restaurant manager apologized? He also gave it to me free of charge. This is what I called customer service!
Here in Malaysia we are way below standard. It is no point hiring some phony managers in the restaurant that come around with fake smiles asking how the food is. Half they time they don’t take bad remarks and improve the service. I really think they are pretty annoying especially when they come around and interrupt our dinner and our conversations. Can’t they pick a better timing? By the way, I think they think too highly of themselves and not really serving the customers. Do you agree?
Anyway, back to the wrong price tagging, anyone know any consumer rights in Malaysia that the store have to sell the price that the goods has tagged? They cannot sell any higher than that? If you do, please let me know.

I am a fussy shopper when it comes to shopping for shoes. Believe me, I don’t have many pairs of shoe. 5 pairs at most, one pair for work, one pair for casual wear, one pair for sports, one pair of slippers and 1 pair of dinner function. I love shoes that give me comfort more than anything.
I admired my friend who wore lovely shoes. Once I saw her wearing the gorgeous thigh high boots with her lovely dress. She really knows how to shop for shoes. If you want to look for cool shoes, go to LingerieDiva.com to see the latest fashion.

I got this fabric bag from Penang QueensBay Mall. It has a cute little dog sewn on the bag which I love so much. In my humble opinion, it is worth much more than the I M Not A Plastic Bag.
I kind of like the store, the bags they are selling has either a dog or a cat sewn on it. It is really cute. The store is call pet shop. It has backpack, shoulder bag, purses, handphone pouch and all. The inside of the bag has lining which is water proof. The quality is not bad. I am not sure where this bag comes from but it is pretty. My children love it too.
Anyone know where is it made?

Yesterday I was at the Jusco sale with Emily. Wow it was havoc there with so many people queuing to get Jusco membership, to the fitting room, to pay and to grab good bargains. Oh well, I wanted to get a pair of shoes but the design wasn’t suitable. I ended up getting some groceries to cook today.
Milo, Nescafe, Darlie toothpaste, oil, maggi mee, drypers, detergent and many items were on sale. I got twin pack Darlie for RM9.00. The rest I didn’t get because I wasn’t able to carry. I saw many people buying so many stuffs and filling up their trolleys like Mt. Everest. I just want to get out of the crowd and go home.

My hubby was looking for a MP3 for his mom to hear some biblical audio. We scout around to look for an affordable one. However the price was sky high. Most of them were above RM130++. I took a look at ebay and found a 1GB mp3 player with a LCD display for the price of RM95. I won the bid and the seller will send it to us next week.
Lazy people like me do more shopping in ebay. At least with ebay or online shopping, I can survey the price. The only disadvantage is there is no testing if buying electronic items.

I took a day off to have a 4 day long weekend. What did I do? I send the children to babysitter and hubby to work. After that, I went shopping. I finally can have some peace and quiet. I hopped in to MPH to read some books and got a couple of good Christian books. I had to use the RM50 voucher before it expired. Guess what? MPH gave me some more vouchers. *sigh* Anyone wants to exchange for cash?
I had greed curry rice at Food Loft. No pictures taken. I tried not to be like many bloggers, after the food is served, they take out their cameras. I can recognize a blogger with that.
I picked up a nice gift for Timothy’s school principal who is also my friend. She really helped Tim to get used to the school and assist him to read. Sometimes she takes him to lunch and shopping after school. She is a nice lady and makes great cakes too.
Time flies when I am enjoying myself. I picked my hubby from work and that’s the end. I must say it was a great day.

I got this Murano Glass from Ebay. It is really cheap, I could get it for the bid of US1. However I was really disappointed because the seller was not truthful. He wrote in the description that it was from UK but really the glass is from Hong Kong. Secondly, the shipping cost from Hong Kong to Malaysia was overpriced. I guess it will be the last thing I will buy from the seller.

I have to be very careful with bidding in Ebay. I found a lot of items there are not what is expected. I did a negative feedback with regards to the above seller. It is funny that most of the seller can create fake feedbacks. It will be good if Ebay can let us filter ad view just the negative feedbacks.

I always window shop in Ebay but never actually got anything except now. I suppose most of the stuff that is sold locally at ebay, we can get it in the local stores. Most of the time, the things I want is abroad and shipping is costly.
Last week, I surf through Ebay and something caught my eye. A nice read star pendant for 1 Pound which is RM7. Cheap deal! It is pretty too and I decided to get for Emily. After winning that bid, my adrenaline runs high and decided to get other stuff. Here are the stuff that I got:

With Ebay it is simple to buy stuff if you own a paypal account. You bid, wait and if you are successful, you pay. Your stuff will be delivered to you. Set a limit to how much you want to bid so that you do not overpay. A few things to note watch out for cheaters and read seller feedbacks to see if they are genuine. Once I bid for a watch, there was no bidder for a few days before I bid. After I bid, suddenly bidder start cropping in. I suspect something fishy and refrain from bidding from that seller.
Hey you can even setup your own online store with ebay. I am sure Malaysia has a lot of good stuff that the other side of the world needs.

Do you know that you need to change your contact lens case frequently? A lot of cases of eye infection are due to contact lens and the main culprit is in the lens case itself. It is not wash or kept clean. Once I went to my friend’s place, I spotted that there were lots of dirt underneath her len’s case. Imagine putting some of that dirt in your eye and let is stay there for hours. We cannot see dirt and you do not know how it can hurt your eye. Hygiene is a very important when handling your lens.

I like the Ciba Vision brand of Multipurpose Solution as it gives a new lens case in every box. It is a great idea as I do not need to remember when it is the last time I change my lens case. When I open a new box of saline, it is time to throw away the old lens case. Another tip, never use tap water to rinse your lens case, use the saline to do so.

I have this glass door, a separation between the dinning/living hall with the kitchen. However it was bear for quite a while. I wanted to put some deco but I didn’t find the right one. While I was in Scotland I saw this jello type of deco. It is easy to stick on and remove. No stain will be left on the glass. I did the fish and my children help me with the flower. Now my glass door looks beautiful.

Ribena is giving free berry soft toys. I got 2 big bottles just to get Mr.Chef and Mr.Policeman for my children. I think they are cuties. When it comes to cute freebies, I cannot resist. Sometimes I rather buy things that come with freebies than without. Mummies out there who did buy Ribena for the soft toy, raise your hands. :shoot: I am sure those haven’t and read my blog will do so.

Look another 2 cute Japanese dolls soap liquid pump from Shokubutsu range. It has been sitting my shelf, collecting dust. It sure looks cute. Anyway I quite like the body soap. After using, I find my skin feels softer. My back of my arm used to be dry and rough. Now it feels different.

Keep me update if you hear of any freebies.

This is not a sponsored post but hoping it will be sponsored. :giggles: When I was in US, someone msg me, asking me to check out the price of COACH bag in US. Huh? What coach, sofa ah? Knowing me, I was not in trend with the latest handbag brands as I don’t carry one. The only time when I do carry one is when I am attending a dinner function.
Anyway, this person got me very interested and I found out that the COACH bag is very popular in US and Hong Kong. It is almost like LV, a very expensive piece of accessories. Vien and I went to the factory outlet at Gilroy to take a look, we were disappointed because the bags were not very attractive. The signature was hidden on all the bags. *kiasu look* Hey you want to buy an expensive bag, make sure the brand is in view right.
As we were shopping at COSCO, I was surprised that there was a booth selling COACH bag there, mostly above US200. COSCO was the last place I would see any expensive bags for sale. I was surveying at the SFO and HKG airport, minimum was at least US230. Well, for me, I will not spend so much for a hand bag. At first, if the price is right, I want to get 1 for my aunt.
During CNY, I saw my aunt carrying a COACH, gee it is haunting me again. My aunt told me that my cousin got it for her from Bangkok. Ha! Imitation and it looks like one too.
Finally, I think I almost forgotten the word COACH. A week ago, someone msged me telling me there is a sale and all bags going for 75%. Another temptation, it is like COACH is not giving up on me. So I surfed in the COACH website and with the recommendation from my friend, came up with 2 choices within my budget. Which one do you like and guess which one I am going to buy?

I am pretty much “pook kai” liao, no money to celebrate Chinese New Year. Fortunately the local share market went up and my one and only share went up 5 folds. I didn’t check until last week, it gave me a shock.
Anyway it is still money on paper.
By the way, I went through 3 seasons winter (snow), springs (cherry blossoms) and summer (back home) within 2 weeks.
What did I buy? First thing in my shopping list was Corelle dinnerware. I was surveying the market for 5 years. It was never a good price to buy here. It is 1/3 the price there even after conversion. If I can carry, I probably get 2 sets.

Then I got lots of clothes for my children and my newborn niece for Chinese New Year. I got some pretty dresses from my gal and pants for my son. Tim love those with belts, he said “Look mum, seat belt on my pants.” It is cheap if you don’t do any conversion. Baby clothes were 70% discount. I just can’t resist getting those tiny little dresses. Look at the lion suit I got for my niece, isn’t tat cute?

Wet n Wild nail polish was selling for 99 cents. Not that I have time to put on any. I probably give it away as gift to friends or relatives. Timberland shoes were on sale too at 60% discount. I got both pairs for 29.90. I got my hubby some shirts. MIL requested for a pair of sport shoes. I got her a pair Nike shoes. She wore the same size as Vien, so she was my shoe model.

I really have to thank Vien, she not only showed hospitality by offering me a place to stay but she also got my children, a computer each. My children were very excited with their new computer. They played with it night and day. The computer has 30 activities. Most important activity was spelling for my boy.

Belle did the final check that I have all the stuff pack. She even sat on it to make sure I can zip it up. :giggles: She is so adorable with so many interesting face expressions.

Half Boil egg is my favorite. Sorry I don’t have any cholesterol, so I can eat as much as I want.
I never know how to make perfect half boil egg. Sometimes it turned out to be hard boiled egg or not cook at all, with the transparent slimy part of the egg. :sc:
I discovered this gadget that makes perfect half boil egg. It cost RM9.90. I first saw it in Ikea when I was there for breakfast. I saw this funny looking orange plastic container with eggs in it. I peep over to someone who was making his half boiled egg and learn from him. It is real easy.

There is a Japanese pancake store in Jusco Queensbay mall Penang. My children is fascinated with that store. It has machinery displaying how the little pancake is made. My children stared at it from start to finish. The pancake comes in different option of fillings like jam, peanut butter, red bean, chocolate and kaya. It cost RM1.30 for a piece. My children loved it.

Something innovative, I want to introduce to you. Look what a zip lock bag can do. This is a special kind, don’t use the grocery type, hehehe…it won’t work. It is a special roll up compression bag.
You know how bulky and heavy 1 piece of winter clothing is. If you dump it in your luggage, it probably takes half of the space. Here is what you can do to create more space in your luggage so that you can put more shopping stuff in.
You can use this special bag to help you store your big bulky comforter, soft toys and blankets in a compress manner. It creates more space in your cupboard for other stuff. It cost RM19.90 for 2 bags. Mainly used for traveling.
